B's Night Tournament Game

Well, the game was just rained out after the 3rd inning... not "all bad" ... we were playing Mill Creeks Blue team and they were hitting the ball really well.

Again, B had another good defensive game... see the following pictures. He was only up one time and popped out to the first baseman. Not sure if/when the game will be rescheduled.

B's Baseball Tournament

B was in three All Star Tournaments this weekend...

We had three games yesterday... Lisbon... Girard... and then Austintown all day yesterday,

And... two games in Lisbon and one in Austintown today.

Brady and the team did very well... they played against some very tough competition vs. Poland, Austintown and Columbiana and also played Struthers this afternoon ...

We were very proud of Brady's play over the entire weekend, especially his defensive plays at third base.

Sunday "Picnic"

With Uncle Bob and Aunt Marilyn home, it was a good time to get together.
It included pizza... baseball ... to water balloons!!

We were at Paityn's gymnastics from 8:00 am till 1:00 pm today, and then we went to B's baseball game at 2:00.
B had a really nice game, both hitting and fielding. He played the outfield, as well as third base and shortstop. For the second time, he was given one of the game balls for his hitting.
We are proud of you, B!!

Paityn - Gymnastics

Today, Paityn had a meet at OGI. It was all levels but it only included OGI and Divas, from the Canton area.
Paityn did really well.
Our concern was that last week Paityn fell off the beam and twisted her ankle while attempting the double back handspring on the beam. She had been taking it easy on her ankle and she, and all of us, were concerned how she would handle that routine on the beam.
She did very well, scoring a 9.175 on her beam routine! We were really proud of her.

Grandparents' Day

Yesterday, we attended the Grandparents' Day at Paityn and Brady's school.

Just back home from Carson's birthday party.

Annie

What a great three day performance of Annie by the St. Christine Elementary students. Paityn played one of the orphans and did an outstanding job. We were all so proud of her!!

Cincinnati

Just back from Cincinnati. Spent yesterday and today in Cincy for Paityn's Gymnastics.
Good Time!!

Paityn did consistently well in all four events with scores of :
Bars:   8.75
Beam: 8.8
Floor:  8.95
Vault:  8.875

We thought that she significantly improved her Bars routine... Good Job, Pait!!

Spire Institute Meet

Went to the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio for a Gymnastics Meet with Paityn.
Another really great day... a little long, but very rewarding!

Paityn scored:
Bars: 8.525
Beam: 9.3
Floor: 8.95
Vault: 9.25

A Great Indianapolis Trip

Congratulations to Paityn for a great accomplishment in Indianapolis.

Her family and her grandparents made the 5 1/2 hour trip last Thursday to attend her Gymnastics meet.

We all had a great time! Her brothers had fun and behaved very well. B was especially helpful as he filmed the various events on the iPhone and the iPad.

This was the first meet where Paityn scored a 9 on two separate events - on Floor and on Beam. She also received a First Place Medal for beam.
